The Baltimore Sun sports department has an opening for a content editor to oversee online coverage and work with the staff to create and produce content across all digital and social platforms. In this role, the editor helps set the tone for the delivery of breaking sports news so that The Sun is first and accurate. Those interested should exhibit leadership skills, strong editing and a wealth of ideas. A track record of managing reporters, creating content, social engagement and project development is key. Strong familiarity with Web production and content management systems also is required. Shifts required will include some nights and weekends. Three to five years of journalism experience preferred.
