GOP House speaker refuses to recognize motion on the floor to oust him; parliamentarians resign en masse in protest. State troopers called to Capitol in case of unrest.

    God bless Texas.

God, I know I'm a geek, but there's nothing I like more than a good parliamentary procedure story.

I loved the filibuster episode of the West Wing.

Molly Ivins is smiling somewhere as the Texas legislature continues to show its stupidity.
