Probably live in non-HOA neighborhoods, so you're cool.

The insane, uneducated, and downright dumb have more of an opportunity to express themselves and be heard than ever before.

That's completely true. It's called the backfire effect.

Showing people evidence that something they believe is false only strengthens their belief.

I remember my son's ninth-grade geography teacher saying last year that her class was as much about how to research, find and discern information as much as it was (or more than) memorizing facts. That made sense, because you can find out where Libya is located in a hot minute. But figuring out from Google what's behind all the chattering about Benghazi takes some time and clear thinking over who is pushing what.

Yes. Thank you, Nate. It's getting worse.

My only solace is that if one group of nutbags gets its way, the other group of nutbags will be locked away in mental institutions at the drop of a hat.

    No shit.

There's ALWAYS a second gunman reported in any mass shooting. In a panic situation, it doesn't occur to people that the gunman might move. Here's the list of shootings that really had a second gunman:

    1. Columbine

Yes, because initial 911 calls during a massacre are always so reliable.

Who said he had "military precision"?

You don't need military precision when you're firing an AR at defenseless first graders, kindergartners and teachers at close range. Isn't that the whole point we've being hearing about why these ARs are so frightening? You don't need to be an expert marksmen to kill masses with one, you only need to be able to point in the general direction of people and twitch your finger repeatedly. Any half-wit numbskull can do it.
