    ...a $100 million+ scam by a couple of GOP politicians. No wonder California's broke.

    That is just so wrong.

    Sue for $23M and settle for $100M? For simply a $100k bribe? What a dufus. Someway, somehow, there has got to be a way to get that $76M back for the government.
