Technically, if voting for rights is the issue then the right of a person to have a habitat on this earth should trump any vote to ban the building of a criminal facility, or a halfway house, or even someone on a sexual predator list, be it the 18-year-old convicted of sex with an underage girlfriend or a 48-year-old sicko having his way with a 9-year-old girl who have paid the prison price for their crimes and have been released, the legal definition goes, as "free men."

I personally didn't think the democratic process should have been invalid in the first place, but like I said, I gave in to the unbending, unyielding determination of the left to say anyone who doesn't agree with them is unworthy of having a say. You might have trouble getting that across in fly-over country, but move on with your mission.

Because you cannot "argue" that another law-abiding American citizen cannot enjoy the same civil rights and liberties that you enjoy simply because they are gay.

Your holy book does not make my country's laws.

EDIT: It's not about being "unworthy of having a say." It's about this argument you're making being wholly unconstitutional.

Did I not say good luck at getting that across in flyover country?

Or are you trying to convince yourself that just because a liberal says it, it's law and we don't need to bother with the process?

What the hell is he talking about?

  6. That's how you win an argument. Confuse the shit out of people so they have no response.

By the way, a majority of polled Connecticut citizens support the ruling:

Also, buried within the results, 73 percent of respondents said they believe that gay couples should be able to adopt children.

Beaker, I wonder if ACORN did that study.

Bucko: Flyover country is the red country that keeps trying to fight your enlightened liberals on transforming the country into a God-hating, Socialist state. Me thnks they'll have a slightly difficult time brainwashing them.

That, too. But I congratulate you. The first step toward recovery is admitting you have a problem.
