    LOL. That's fucking great!

I think I told this story before, but one year when I was working for Giuliani, there was an event scheduled to issue the proclamation naming February "African-American History Month".

As you might imagine, Giuiani's support in the African-American community wasn't super high, so it could sometimes be tough to get prominent African-Americans to stand alongside him at events like this.

So, it was decided that the head of the Jackie Robinson Foundation would appear with the mayor, and would receive the framed proclamation as a part of the ceremony.

Well, as you might have guessed, the guy shows up, and he's white.

Thankfully, Yankee GM Bob Watson also attended the event. He was presented with the proclamation instead.

Kind of like John Thompson's Hoyas as the face of Georgetown University.

They have one player from Texas, one from Michigan, one from Denmark, one from England, one from Mexico and one from Austria.

Probably one of the most diverse teams in women's golf.

As the golf contact for Bethune-Cookman University, I just want to say that having one of my teams featured on sportsjournalists.com is the pinnacle of my career. Thank you.

This wouldn't be news if they weren't cute and white. [/crossthread]

At Bethune-Cookman, they know where the white women at. The golf course. :)
