    Conan agrees with you. From his statement yesterday:

    "In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theater, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in the statement. "My plan is working perfectly."

    Heard Richter interviewed on the Nerdist Podcast five days before the announcement where he said, "Every indication is that the Fox negotiations are going well."

    I'm getting the sense that it might have been TBS or nothing, although it sounds like they got a pretty good deal.
