I remember hearing about this at some point in the last couple of years, but went looking for info today and couldn't find any. If anyone is familiar with the system or has a link to some information, it would be appreciated. Thanks!

I remember reading somewhere (this board? a predecessor version?) that a newspaper in the South, I believe, came up with a system whereby facts, names and stats could be typed into a program and a graf or two could be generated for a roundup. That's all I remember.

There's a joke here somewhere. Mad lib journalism. Great stuff.

Same here. But it was a while back, maybe 2001 or so.

From what I recall, the program was more trouble than what it was worth.
Someone still had to go back, check everything and do rewrites since the program would spit out gooblygook.
