You didn't give much of an option for those of us who have more than one computer. ;)

Yes, up, running and very functional.

Do you really think people will fight over fucking operating systems? Seriously?

This may be a new level of looserdom on sj.

Shit ... I voted before IJAG's post made me feel a little bit of shame.

I don't know from one OS to another. I just know that I love PC over Macs ... that's after 15 years of fighting with everything from a Classic to a clamshell Ibook to a G3.

Tomorrow I will (hopefully!) making the switch from XP to OS X, as I will be purchasing my first Mac. We'll still have a PC in the house, but that's the g/f.

As a lifelong Windows guy, please reassure me I'm doing the right thing. I've done a lot of research & I'm pretty certain that the Mac will more than suit my needs. I'm just a little apprehensive.

I'll take any PMs (or post here) with suggestions for must needed apps & downloads for my new machine.

With this bunch? No doubt. :D

    You're enjoying your day
    Everything's going your way
    Then along comes Debbie Downer.

Always there to tell you 'bout a new disease
A car accident or killer bees
You'll beg her to spare you, "Debbie, Please!"
But you can't stop Debbie Downer!

I love Macs. And apparently so did the guy who stole my laptop out of my hotel room a couple of months ago.
