Companies that have screwed you

Discussion in 'Anything goes' started by ADifferentOkie, Apr 5, 2007.

  1. Home Depot (Company doesn't abide by the installation contracts it writes and has gone down hill in the past several years because of its former CEO cutting staff to newspaper-like numbers.)

The Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino (Biloxi) -- Still have the picture of this 75-year-old woman at the check-out counter saying "You spent $384, it sure looks like you had fun." Yeah, it was fun having a trail of aunts crawling up my nightstand for most my stay and you ripping me out of a discounted rate because we were leaving a day early. Dumb old bat.

Car dealerships in general and any place that requires haggling.

My health insurance company (and most of them in general) because they kept requesting this record and that record and took a month and half between each request to process each record. They're finally paying my doctor five months after the appointment because I called and talked to a supervisor who actually took care of things. The rest of the people at that company are useless.

Hopefully someone has a link to that guy's web site that tried to cancel AOL. He taped the phone conversations and everything. Ended up on Larry King (I think).

I believe it was a thread here. Not sure who started it, though.

The statute of limitations has run out on most of my corporate grudges.

Seems like there was some rental car agency I swore I would never use again – something about a car that smelled like piss – but I have blissfully forgotten the details.

That doesn't sound like a bad thing...and it sure sounds like that customer service rep is getting a story he'll be telling over and over again for a very long time.....

Hate Cingular. I also now hate Circuit City... at least my local branch. I found a product online that I could pick up at the local store. I go and ask the people in the computer section (it's a car adapter for my laptop)where I can find it. Girl says, "I don't even know what you're talking about. You probably can't even get that sort of thing here." I explain that I found it online and it was available in my local store. She says, "go talk to psp people" I turn around and it's on the rack behind me.

I show it to her and she says, "oh.. that's not what you asked for." What a stupid fucking bitch.

    Best Buy.

I'm tired of freaking wheeling-and-deeling-wannabe, blue-shirted geeks. Calm the f*ck down on the suggestive selling, ok, Weird Al ?

Is it as good for you as it is for them? :D

Never had a problem with Best Buy. Circuit City on the other hand, I've had trouble both times I tried returning something.

Ditto on that, those fucking assholes. We called for a phone line and phone a couple of months ago, as the town that I live in has recently upgraded to the 21st century. They said, no problem. We went in to pick it up and, after waiting in line for 45 minutes, were told that they were out and had no idea when they'd get anything in and said they'd call us. So we had to drive 45 minutes to get one and then had to wait 3 weeks to get it hooked up because they forgot to enter us in for 911 or some bullshit.
Then they lost our appointment to get it hooked up and made us wait ANOTHER week. Not to mention they always fuck up our bill.

Also, Suburban Energy Services, if you live in the west or east coast. Also the biggest fucks EVER.
