Was about 10 minutes. I'm moving this weekend and it'll soon be just under an hour (about 55 miles one-way). Some people try to get closer, I go farther.

15-20 minutes depending on traffic and traffic lights.

20 minutes, all freeway. Then a five-minute walk to and from the car because I refuse to pay my employer for a parking space.

25 minutes straight through, but I often stop halfway for a coffee or gas.

I ride my bike to a ferry, take the ferry across the river and ride my bike to the office. It all takes 40 minutes or so, but I love my commute.

15 steps from my bedroom to my home office where I work most of the time, otherwise about 10 minutes.

Does that include a pit stop at the bathroom or the kitchen?

Depending on where I worked in the greater Portland, Ore., area, mine was anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes every soul-crushing day -- and longer on Fridays, when I had to go to the office for payday. I had anger issues.

Hmm. In this business, soul-crushing day is usually on payday.

Mine is 47 miles of rural highway, or 54 minutes of listening to XM radio (depending on if I get caught at that damn light they installed). It helps me leave the office at the office most of the time.

  11. 10 minutes, and I love it.

You have to pay for a parking space? WTF.
