    1) Blue Bunny ≠ Blue Bell
    2) That's it pretty much.

Being a larger guy, or fluffy, I don't do well with heat. I look like I'm melting.

I'm wrong (again)... I somehow confused Blue Bell and Blue Bunny. It's not Brown Bunny, though.

Oh my God, what a terrible movie. Just so awful. Unwatchable, even with the infamous Chloe Sevigny scene near the end.

I never saw so many Blue Bell references in my life before this thread. LOL. Somebody tell me if they have Toasted Almond Fudge and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Former Blinn QBs Michael Bishop and Justin Tuggle played at Kansas State. Bishop was the Heisman Trophy runner-up to Texas' Ricky Williams in 1998 race. Justin Tuggle, who converted to linebacker, the son of former Atlanta Falcons star linebacker Jesse Tuggle, is entering his second season with the Houston Texans. Brenham isn't far from Houston or College Station, right?

Only about 80 miles to Shiner one way.

For some reason I can't understand these days, Shiner Bock was my go-to beer in college. Nowadays, I realize it was mediocre at best.

  12. Just giving this one a bump since we're still looking. In response to questions on the thread, Brenham itself is fairly small, 16K people or so, but you're only about 45 minutes from College Station and Texas A&M, an hour from Houston and an hour and a half from Austin.

If you choose to apply, please remember that while you'll get plenty of opportunities to write and take photos of sporting events, about 70 percent of the job will be writing about non-sports college news, and our ideal candidate will have general news writing experience or at least express enthusiasm for non-sports content. I know it's a weird thing to say about a job posted on a sports journalists' site, but the job really is a combo position and not just an SID role.
