Thank you. I hadn't looked at that in a long time. The tags are outstanding -- sort your commons by "stupid hat", "handlebars", "possible wig", "cult leader", "hotel chain name" (that is a small class).

Was he traded to the Jays after they shot him in this Rangers uniform?

Good God, what a beautiful collection of late-70s to mid-80s mediocrity. And I can't figure out how the hell I left Rob Picciolo or Charlie Moore off my list. Maybe I overlooked Picciolo because I was saving Lou Piccone for my list of football commons.

I was about 16 and sitting next to the visitors' bullpen at Tiger Stadium when Ray Searage came in to relieve Steve Carlton (trying to hang on with the White Sox at the time). Someone yelled, "Hey Sewage, you're in."

I imagine he got that a lot in his short career. I also remember seeing him come in and stink it up for the Brewers the year before (or maybe the year after). Perhaps those are his only 2 MLB appearances.

My friends and I referred to him as "Raw Sewage."

How have we gone three pages and no one has mentioned Pete LaCock? One of the greatest names in baseball history. Another funny name, per Terry Pluto's book about the Indians "The Curse of Calavito," Bob Owchinko was pitching when the Indians made a barnstorming trip to Japan. When they announced he was coming in to pitch the crowd cracked up. According to Pluto, Owchinko means "little penis" in Japanese. Not sure if that's true or not, but a great story.

one of these things does not belong.
steve kemp isn't a hall of famer but had a few good seasons and
may have been an all star once or twice.

Pete LaCock. had to look it up because i thought penny marshall was his cousin but it's actually Peter Marshall is his dad and Joanne Dru is his aunt.

But he is not related to Rusty Kuntz.

Edit: i also thought it was LeCock

Incredible amount of misspellings on this thread.

It's like it's been sprinkled with Boom dust.

just outside the 80s range, but I swear I could have tiled a room in my house with Chris Donnels and Eric Hillman "future star" cards.

They don't qualify as scrubs, but I must have had an ungodly amount of John Candelaria and Cory Snyder cards as well.
