    They gave Challenger to all of the beaches in Florida.

    God I hate myself sometimes.

    It's not like Houston hasn't benefitted enough for having NASA located there - when really the only reason it IS there is because of LBJ. They launch in Florida, the shuttles were built and many "secret" space projects are launched in California.
    You would figure they at least already have a mock-up of a shuttle in Houston for training purposes.
