It's famous now. Like Jon Voight's car.

And thankfully it didn't have overpowering BO when they got it back.

Jerry wanted to use a "bugeye" style Austin Healey Sprite for the show. His producer contacted a Southern California Austin Healey club that my folks are a part of, asking for photos from anyone who would let them use their car for a shoot. My parents' was by far the nicest, they said... and then my parents didn't hear from them for a year. Then late this summer the producer emailed asking if they were still interested, and they were. Jerry's people picked it up at their house on a flatbed on a Sunday and they shot the episode on Tuesday, I think, just a couple of months ago.

Cool story. Did your parents get any souvenirs out of the deal, like a signed photo of Jerry with the car?

Don't think so, no. They were paid for it, but no souvenirs.

    That is awesome.

I would've insisted on getting paid plus a signed headshot that read "Nothing's finer than eating at your diner."

The 'Bug Eye' was this episode's sole redeeming value.

Pretty much agree. Had never heard of Miranda Sing and had not idea what to make of her.

I did not realize that there was some new episodes out though. Really enjoyed the
    one with Dick Corcoran:

I wish they had these in podcast form.

Watched a bunch of these today: Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Brian Regan, Howard Stern, Jason Alexander.

I prefer longform interviews like Stern or Maron, but this isn't trying to do that. It's fun and light. I want a little more, but I do like them.

So who else from the world of funny would you want to see Jerry interview?

    Bill Cosby.
    Conan O'Brien
    Will Ferrell
