When I first moved out to beautiful downtown Mimico, the hookers--so downmarket that they got tossed from Jarvis St---used to line up on the Lakeshore in the morning to get the early trucker trade.

First time I saw them I just figured they were waiting for the streetcar.

He wishes. I think he reserved time in 5-minute increments.

All right, late breaking news... As an added incentive, March 7 in DC will also be IJAG's birthday celebration. (I'm looking at you, Meat.) We should be able to raise enough money that night to keep SportsJournalists.com powered up till 2025.

P.S.: Five minutes? When did I become BYH wearing a Performax?

Get to DC. Buy drinks for Drink with me. Watch Jones make an ass of himself.

It's the best of all worlds!

    Crap, Jones.

If you'll get a little closer to my part of the world, I'll chip in a little for SportsJournalists.com and drive whoever needs a ride back to their places (for those staying in town, anyway).

    I need a pick-me-up. Really bad.

If you can make it to Little Rock for a literary festival, the you should come to Louisville for the Humana Festival of New American Plays. Want to see what will be playing in New York next year? Come to Louisville this year. </formerchamberofcommerceflack>

If you can't come for that, come here this fall for the gubernatorial race. It should be a harbinger for the 2008 presidential election.</currentpoliticalwonk>
