    Help!
The column headers at our shop are significantly outdated and I am looking to change them.
    Any suggestions?
Maybe you could post what you guys do with yours?

Can you describe for us what they look like right now?

    OK.
    1-column box

    1-point line across top
Mug shot left hand of column (from top line to bottom line); to the right of that is the name of the column and the writer's name (14-point Franklin Gothic)
    2-point line across bottom

I just think they are hideous and about 20 years out of date.

Why not make the photo itself wider (as in most of the column), center it, and run the writer's name and title underneath, with a rule line underneath the whole package? Of course, if you use a wider photo, you'll have to take a wider shot of the writer's face. Make sure it's on a decent, neutral background, as well.
