Agreed. The days of teams drafting a quarterback then letting him cool his heels on the bench for 2-3 years like Steve McNair are over. Nowadays, you draft a quarterback in the first round --- let alone No. 1 overall --- you expect him to start from Day 1.

Love how ESPN is pushing the "Colts, Manning parting ways" language. All soft and pillowy, as if there's been a death in the family or something. Saying the Colts will "cut" or "release" Manning is too HARD CORE AND NEGATIVE!!! Can't have Peyton thinking bad thoughts about the WWL if they want to hire him in a few years.

As I always say, it's not news until "Christmas Ape" reports it.

Don't worry, turski, I got it.

Moddy -- Parks and Rec, Lowe's latest project. Literally the best show you haven't seen.

I saw parts of it one night. I thought it was a reference to a tweet. Wasn't knocking it. Just didn't think it was THAT funny.

I will try to watch parks and rec then, just for the hell of it

Parks and Rec is a great show that keeps getting better...

I would argue there are no winners in this deal, at least not initially...

Luck goes to one of a few places where it is a virtual given that he will not be as good as his predecessor. That can make life difficult on even the most talented of rookies.
