College football week 9 thread

    Never been there. Never had enough money to go there.
    I've always lost it all betting on college football games. ;)

    According to the SEC website, after head-to-head across three-team, obviously not an option, then next tiebreaker is divisional record.

    Currently, that would give Florida (3-1) a lead on Tennesse (2-1) with Georgia on the outs right now (2-2). The next direction is this.

    Head-to-head competition vs. the team within the division with the best overall (divisional and non-divisional) Conference record and proceeding through the division. Multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last.

    What I think this means is if all three teams end up tied, with Tennesse and Florida both at 4-1 in the division, the Vols win against Georgia puts them in the game. But don't hold me to that.

    I remember when they all finished tied a few years back, the SEC cooked up a last-ditch tiebreaker based on highest BCS ranking. Beats a coin flip, I suppose.

    1995: Ohio State lost vs. Tennessee 20-14 in Florida Citrus Bowl
    1994: Ohio State lost vs. Alabama 24-17 in Florida Citrus Bowl
    1992: Ohio State lost vs. Georgia 21-14 in Florida Citrus Bowl
    1989: Ohio State lost vs. Auburn 31-14 in Hall of Fame Bowl
    1978: Ohio State lost vs. Alabama 35-6 in the Sugar Bowl
