    Pac-12 Commissioner of Officiating resigns unexpectedly.

    Maybe he watched too much video of his officials and realized they were beyond hope.

    As someone who has watched Pac-12 officials somehow step it up a notch in ineptitude this year (didn't think that was possible, but they have), this part is both hilarious and sad at the same time: the league was hoping to give this guy a contract extension.

    The problem is they finally messed up a game (Stanford-Notre Dame) that hurt the conference. Until this point, all the non-conference flubs have helped them.
