Yeah, he was one of the guys Alabama approached after Dennis Franchione left for Texas A&M in 2002 and they eventually hired Mike Price. But he smartly wanted no part of it.

Riley's probably one of the more obscure former Alabama football players ever. His connection to Alabama was that his uncle, Hayden Riley, was basketball and baseball coach there in the 1950s.

Mike's dad, Bud, was originally from Guin, Ala., but played at Idaho (for former Alabama star Dixie Howell) and stayed on the West Coast as a coach the rest of his life. Mike played for Bryant in the mid-70s, but to my knowledge has never really been back to Tuscaloosa for any reason since.

Any idea what Destiny Boudreaux is up to these days? After seeing her photograph, I KNEW Price had to have been shit-faced drunk. ;D
