Pretty good schedule all the way through the week.

+24 seems awfully high for 2 teams that are ranked in the Top 25.

    1. I see no reason to be enthusiastic about taking KU and the points.

    2. Whatever the reason for Mark's inability to vote, own property or emerge from the Los Angeles underground, it is apparently rooted in civil code and not common law. The plot thickens.

In trying to keep up with all the shows that ESPN has on college football, I reguarly stumble across "UNITE" on ESPNU. What a clusterfuck. Has anyone else seen it?

It wasn't enthusiasm. It was a sign of shock that I was even considering it.

Yeah. The night games are solid, though. All the way through? Not so much.

Verne Lundquist has the indignity of a South Carolina-Missouri game. That's all you need to know.

Personally, it works out great. I'll be visiting my mom and brother Saturday and won't be able to catch much of the afternoon action. But at night, I'll get Michigan-Notre Dame, LSU-Auburn (for what that'll be worth), Kansas State-Oklahoma, Arizona-Oregon, and Clemson-FSU.

    Pretty solid.

Those games appear to be evenly matched, if not well-played.

I agree. There's a lot worse weeks out there, I'm sure.

It all sets up nicely for my weekend plan of golf on the Cape followed by beer, oysters and clams at the Squire in Chatham on Saturday night, where multiple TVs grace the bar.
