College Football Week 3 thread

I don't know enough about the UMass program, but why does everyone seem to believe this? Their first game was 6-0 at halftime against BC. Their second game they led Colorado 31-20 midway through the third quarter. Now they're drumming Vandy.

They're not going to be ranked, but they hardly seem awful. But maybe that perception is why they were such a good bet for Sonner.

 

The talent has been there in Charlottesville for a while because London is a hell of a recruiter. Looks like Tenuta and O'Brien are doing some coaching to go along with it.

Those first two games were UMass home games, which helped early against BC (who beat them handily in the end) and Colorado. My opinion isn't much higher on BC or Colorado. Let's be honest, all four teams are awful, but a UMass team that was an FCS program three years ago and has gone 2-24 against FBS teams since, should not be competing with an SEC team at home.
