Nope, worst-game-of-the-week award goes to the New Mexico-New Mexico State game. UNM lost to I-AA Portland State last week, while New Mexico is coming off the country's worst DI losing streak.

Our buddy in Champaign, the Zookster, is down 14-0 to Rutgers. And Rutgers offense have yet to take the field.

Meechigan is up 7-0 over Central Michigan and Va Tech is up 3-0 at Chapel Hill.

Yeah, but UNM-NMSU features Hal Mumme, and any game that features Hal Mumme is a treat for journalists.

Just curious, is the UNM-NMSU game "just another game" for Mumme?

The ghost of JP lives on. Auburn just got delay of game with 2 seconds showing on the TV "play clock" Viva la Lincoln Financial!

South Carolina couldn't beat UGA playing 13-on-11.

I agree with all but UGA, I think they will get it done and answer a lot of questions.

It's 27-0 now. Illinois looks clueless. And Schiano looks like someone the Hurricanes might wants to keep tabs on. If he could rebuild that sorry program into a team that annually goes to bowl games, he would easily do the job in south Florida.
