Nah, I see it being something like 42-38, 49-45. There will be points.

13 of their last 15 have been under.

2 of the last 4 have gone over with 78 and 87 as totals.

They might beat the spread (18 last I looked) but I wouldn't take them straight up. Maryland is better than they were last season and ODU still has big defensive problems.

I haven't even looked yet (shame on me), but I wonder if books are even giving moneyline odds on this one? I'll look tonight and, if so, I'm jumping on it. This just has the "Maryland gonna Maryland" feel to it for some reason.

Edit: Couldn't wait until tonight. ODU +750. Lots of value compared to both point spread lines, which are -110.

Ironically his dad's hometown Sayreville won a state title last season and is usually a top 20 team. Jon sent his kid to private school so he is evil.

  9. I'll take Lamar (+28) against Louisiana Tech.

Eastern Washington, ODU and Lamar on this thread so far.

Anybody wanna work a D-II into this bitch?

There was no negative externality on Sayreville's season, right?

My alma mater, North Alabama, won its season opener last night by 5 touchdowns. Miles College, I believe, was the loser in that one.

    There's the Division II update!

You forgot Central Arkansas and its stupid and possibly illegal field.

In the Division II battle of the Miners, South Dakota Mines takes on Colorado Mines this Saturday. I suspect that the game will be played above ground but that does give a different spin on over/under.
