Best three games of the weekend, not that anyone here cares about the lines or anything,

    Florida - Miami
    11 a.m., Saturday, ESPN
    Line: Florida by 3

    South Carolina - Georgia
    3:30 p.m., Saturday, ESPN
    Line: Georgia by 3

    Notre Dame - Michigan
    7 p.m., Saturday, ESPN
    Line: Michigan by 4

Upset special: Central Arkansas beats Colorado on the road. Da Bears, home of the worst field in college football, will get $390,000 for the game. Plus, I think, travel expenses.

    And then I saw this:

Bon Jovi's kid plays for Notre Dame?

    Another sweet turf.

Those first 2 games are difficult. I'll just choose Florida by a TD and South Carolina by 14.

    Michigan by 21.

Yikes on Central Arkansas' new turf. That is hideous.

So they move up to D-I a few years back, collect some guarantee checks and spend it on that?

I like Georgia. South Carolina is still too mediocre on offense.

San Jose State (+26.5) will cover at Stanford. The Spartans have all kinds of talent -- QB David Fales included -- back from last year's 11-2 team, and they've already played a game. It's the Cardinal's opener.

South Carolina has beaten Georgia the last two years, yet UGA has still won the SEC East both times.

But if Georgia loses again, the Richt hate is gonna get loud in Athens (again).

If that is Central Arkansas' actual field picture, then it's illegal.

    Can anyone tell me why?

And then Richt will somehow knock off Florida, finish 9-3 whilst getting beat in the Outback Bowl by Michigan State.

Grass/turf has to be all one color?

Even so, it's still not as offensive as Eastern Washington's seizure-inducing red turf:

Nope. Look at the yard lines.
