    Buffalo did. Mizzou will too.

PS: Is Kentucky included in the "SEC meatgrinder" schedule I always hear about?

Missouri defensive tackle says SEC plays 'old-man football' like Big Ten
COLUMBIA, Missouri -- Missouri held talkative defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson out of media day Monday after the player's unflattering remarks about Georgia and the SEC in general.

Richardson, a junior, said after Saturday's opening victory over Southeastern Louisiana that he watched some of the Bulldogs' opening victory over Buffalo earlier in the day but turned off his TV because "it's like watching Big Ten football. It's old-man football."

Team spokesman Chad Moller said Richardson "earned himself a vacation."

"Well, you know we certainly want to say the right things, do the right things," Missouri coach Gary Pinkel said. "I think he just got carried away a little bit, but I handled that internally."

Richardson's remarks could end up as bulletin board material to be used as motivation by sixth-ranked Georgia.

    "Best academics and cleanest program?"
A bunch of people at Vanderbilt just designed a machine that will punch a hobo for them.

Speaking of Vanderbilt, in trying to find when they'll play Texas A&M I saw that they open the 2013 season at Ohio State.
Is Vandy finding a way to win that game the definition of "awesome?"

They won in East Lansing in 2009. The coaching staff and players are all different in Mount Pleasant, but it's something.

I think that game's already gone the way of the dodo bird, actually.
