Been reading a lot of bowl projections that have Fresno claiming the at-large bid for the BCS, but they're behind N. Ill right now and still have a MtnWest championship game. Don't know if a win over Utah State will boost them that much.
I'm reading the BCS rule correctly right? Only one at-large no matter how many are ranked ahead of the lowest AQ champion (UCF)

 

Correct. A bowl could elect to take a second non-BCS team but that's not going to happen.

 

In retrospect, the game not played at Colorado may be the difference for Fresno State.
