Heard something about that. Also heard that Georgia is in the playoff. Committee member Joe Tessitore said so.

Even if they lose, they're in the playoff.

Good. They can get sent to Boise and make excuses how they lost again.

Something they pointed out on the CBS broadcast yesterday, that Stanford has been slow to embrace NIL or taking transfers. Perhaps this is a step toward joining the rest of the CFB world, like St. Bonaventure hiring Woj. Taylor has a good young core, but seemed mistake prone.

And, just to keep the argument going, the Cardinal also has a quarterback who's used only in goal line situations, and of course he lined up in the gun as often as he was under center.

I think the best pxp guys know when to shut up and get out of the way, to let the big moment speak for itself with minimal talk.

Tessitore seems to be the complete opposite, with an ego that needs to have himself screaming over whatever is going on, to make sure his presence is why people know it's a big moment.

Perfect for whatever big balls game show he was on, but a total caricature of a clownish TV guy.

I watched most of it without commentary. Only went to the voiceover for the OT, and I still got sick of those guys.

It's way early, but if James Franklin manages to find his way to the B1G title game without beating Ohio State OR Michigan, I'm going to be rolling on the floor.

Vanderbilt collapses at the end of the half, so I turned it to ESPN. Now South Carolina is coming unstitched.
