College Football Today ... NOT!

    Saw this at 7:45 p.m. ... why would I want an "expanded" version for Mondays? I want it to run with the college football coverage, not the NFL.

    Awful fucking idea. Lot of papers rely on that for notes, today's stars-type packages, etc. I know I did when I had to put those together.

    Christ, AP. I know you're on the ball with becoming a nice, well-rounded, multimedia news-gathering organization, but the rest of us still have papers to put out every day. ::)

    That's atrocious.

    That Sunday for Monday CFB Report should be just about 100% useless since most papers have a staffer doing a Sunday wrap-up piece.

    the time frame for the change from CFB to NFL happens right about 11 a.m. Eastern on Sunday, when the NFL pregame shows start...
    Stupid move by Ap, but not a surprising one.

    I was saving space for it, because it's a good way to wrap up the national stuff, especially on a day when I have a shitty newshole.

    I wouldn't necessarily have a problem with it.

    We don't have a Sunday paper. But it's just as useless to me because we don't have a Monday one, either.
