This is an awesome idea -- even for those of us not currently in sports, since I'm always up for seeing what a little creativity looks like.

I'll try to see if I can get my hands on a few copies of our tab, and if so I'd be more than glad to participate in the swap.

We're at seven papers so far:

    The Ann Arbor News
The News & Advance (Lynchburg, Va.)
    The Casper Star-Tribune
    Tulsa World
    The Oklahoman
    The Patriot News (Harrisburg, Pa.)
The Morning News of Northwest Arkansas

Some folks have expressed an interest in including high school tabs/sections as well, so I've encouraged that. If you send 'em, I'll include 'em.

Some folks have already mailed copies, so I've decided to cut this off at the first 11 that express interest (rather than leave anyone feeling shorted).

So if you're interested, better to act now.

You can reach me at jcarty@annarbornews.com or via PM to get on board.

Updating ... we're currently at nine papers as the Herald-Times of Bloomington and the Gainesville Sun have signed up.

    That leaves two spots.

Well, it only took a little over three months, but I finally sent the tab swap packages out today. Apologies to everyone involved for the delay, but college football eats us alive around here.

A few papers did not come through with sections, so those participating (which included some smaller papers who did not do their own tab this year, but asked for copies) will receive tabs from the following papers:

    The Ann Arbor News
    The Casper Star-Tribune
    The Patriot News (Harrisburg, Pa.)
The Morning News of Northwest Arkansas
    The Gainesville (Fl.) Sun
    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
    The Tuscaloosa News

I also threw in a copy of our paper from the day Bo Schembechler died (also OSU-UM game preview issue) to thicken up the packet a little.

I have one remaining set of all the tabs, which I would be happy to send to anyone who sends me 8 copies of their own tab(s), which I will then forward to the other papers.

Hope to be able to do this again next year (at which time I'll promise December delivery, rather than getting anyone's hopes up).

    Jim

Oh, and if anyone who receives a copy would like to do a critique of the stuff from The Ann Arbor News, I'd be grateful. Easiest way to get better IMO.
