The CAA is 2-1 against the ACC. Northeastern is in the CAA. Feinstein has that fact wrong. Yes, I know, I can't hold Feinstein's jock. But someone at the Washington Post should get that simple fact right in a story.

I have no interest in college festival, but I clicked on this thread just so I could thank slappy for the reference to one of the greatest QBs ever to play in the CFL.

    Thanks, slappy. :)

Tough week for the Sooners. Jermaine Gresham is out for the year:

Between that and Bradford, I bet the chances of any Sooner in the immediate future holding off on the NFL to "win a championship at OU" will be about negative-800 percent.

Florida freshman Andre DeBose (AKA The Next Harvin) also out for the year:

After becoming (this past weekend) only the fourth true freshman since 1986 to start in his collegiate opener at Mississippi State, there were some comparisons made that inferred wideout Chad Bumphis was the next Harvin.
    What gives?

Dan Mullen sold Bumphis on Mississippi State by telling him he could be their version of Harvin.
Urban Meyer has been telling anyone who would listen during signing day that DeBose would be the next Harvin.

    Maybe they're both right ...

It's been my belief that the Big Televen needed to enjoy getting its shots in a DickRod while it had the chance. Michigan dries up Lou Holtz's spittle for good and beats the Irish. Charlie Weis grabs a quart of ice cream and calls Mangino to cry. Mangino sympathizes while downing a gallon of his own.

No way, no how does Ohio State beat USC.

Michigan will beat Notre Dame this weekend, I feel.
Offensive line for Michigan will flex some muscle.
The coaches don't bother me all that much.
Both schools get way too much coverage from the media.

Ball State, firmly returned to Terra Firma after losing at home to wretched North Texas, will likely lose to FCS New Hampshire too.

So who's Indiana State's next victim?
