One of our photogs asked me which team has the most consecutive wins in bowl games. This would not necessarily mean in consecutive years.

Off the top of my head, I'd say Alabama during the Bear Bryant days, but I wouldn't hazard a guess as to the actual number.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Florida State -- 11 consecutive bowl games (1985-95)

I use da Googles, I find da answers

And on the other end, Fat Charlie and his predecessors have lost nine straight, breaking a tie with South carolina and West Virginia at 8

Don't know if it's a record, but I'm thoroughly enjoying Notre Dame's current run of nine consecutive bowl losses.

Ah, yes, any opportunity to hate on the Irish. Damn I miss college football season at SportsJournalists.com

BC has a pretty good bowl game run going, with seven straight. I believe it's the active record. And at least one piece of evidence that winning bowl games, while nice, doesn't necessarily equal an elite-level program.

    Most BCS national championships?

1 -- Nine teams tied (most recent: Florida 2006).

I started to post, what about USC, but then remembered the Trojans split the one by winning the AP title right?

They didn't split anything. They won the AP title in 2003. LSU won the BCS title.

Another interesting stat is most BCS championship game appearances:

    3 -- Florida State (1998, 1999, 2000); Oklahoma (2000, 2003, 2004).
    2 -- Miami (2001, 2002); Ohio State (2002, 2006); USC (2004, 2005).
    1 -- Six teams tied.

Notre Dame has beaten all the service academies for a few straight years :)

Actually you are right in the sense that everyone has won just one BCS title, since USC won the AP title in 2003 and the BCS title in 2004. Now, if Reggie Bush would have just hung onto that attempted lateral, the Trojans would have won two BCS titles.
