The top rated quarterbacks in the 2010 recruiting class have not exactly panned out with the schools that signed them. Sims couldn't win the job at Alabama and now has washed out at UVa. Jake Heaps set all the freshman records at BYU before losing the job when the Cougars changed coordinators. He transferred to Kansas and will start for the Jayhawks this year.

Connor Wood transferred from Texas to Colorado where he couldn't beat out an uninspiring list of Buffs quarterbacks and will pretty much win the starting spot by default this season. Devin Gardner has switched back and forth between QB and WR at Michigan. Rob Bolden started at Penn State as a freshman, but transferred to LSU where he's a backup.

Poor Johnny Manziel. You win the Heisman as a freshman and now college life is just so awful.

    Johnny Foot in Mouth!

Best thing they ever did for that guy was banning him from interviews. Figure he's suspended by Week 6?

I'm sure Northwestern would sympathize with the Bears playing at 10 a.m. their time if the game was in Evanston and was one of those noon ESPN2 specials.

One of the best things about playing at Berkeley used to be no night games because of some neighborhood covenant. That apparently has changed.

BTW, beautiful place to watch a game, especially from the east grandstand. Just don't try to drive there because parking doesn't exist.

Hearing about Johnny Football leave the Manning clan's football camp "sick" this weekend after failing to make some scheduled coaching and counseling sessions...ping an alarm?

Not sure what would be more entertaining - Manziel at SEC Media Days or A&M having to spin canceling Manziel at SEC Media Days.
