    Hey, no making sense here.

Instead, just let Notre Dame get crunched in the ACC championship game, then get crunched in the CFP semifinal. Because Notre Dame. That explains everything ... right?

Meanwhile, one of the best bowls was Liberty and Coastal Carolina. In the freaking Cure Bowl. Funny ... I suspect there's no cure for the playoff committee.

The big boys are getting better with some pretty glitzy non-conf games, but they're also relatively harmless in terms of the postseason. Lose to a top P5 team in September on a neutral and run the table after that, you're still Playoff-bound.

"and allow Fields to heal up a bit" said Day in a barely audible whisper.

At this rate, the title game will be followed by the first day of spring practice.

Or move it to Indianapolis, then March Madness will start the next day.

If there's anything good about the 2020 season, it's that the Heisman got downplayed. Having said that, I think the voters got it right, and I'm glad to see somebody other than a QB get it.

Smith and Pitts, the Florida tight end, were the best skill position players I saw this year.
