We'll check back in after they blast SC by three touchdowns.

They're also scheduled for three roadies against teams that start in the top 25. Meanwhile, Vandy is picked for fifth and South Carolina seventh. Big loss for everyone that those matchups won't happen.

Wondering if anyone on here votes in the AP poll, and if they do, did they vote for Western?

Apropos of this conversation, the ACC will be deciding between a 9-game conference schedule plus 1 P5 OOC vs. an 8+2 schedule.
For schools, like FSU, that play a OOC rival already, the 8+2 provides more flexibility for scheduling an additional marquee OOC game (as FSU is historically want to do), particularly neutral site ones.

Would that be nine games including ND when they rotate on, or not?

Good question. While I'm not sure, I believe that game would satisfy the +1 P5 component. Another reason FSU, GT, Louisville and Clemson lead the anti 9+1 contingent.

Their flight from Honolulu to Ann Arbor is longer than their flight from Honolulu to Sydney.

It doesn't matter, it's a bodybag game anyway. I can't find the exact number but Michigan usually pays around $1M for a patsy.

App State played that role well.
