ESPN is reporting that Grier reportedly took banned supplement called Ligandrol which isn't classified as a steroid, but is banned as performance-enhancer.

Or Northwestern could be deflated by the blowout loss and doesn't show up vs. Iowa.
In terms of my home state teams battling, I would have said the line was too high, but then again I thought the same thing with the Michigan-Northwestern line and I was way off. True, Michigan hasn't faced a good QB since the opener, but I'd say Michigan has also gotten a lot better since that opener, so I'm going with the Wolverines.

That's what ESPN reports about everybody. It's a cute story.

    One-year suspension for Grier. Ouch.

Confidence in that Florida pick change any after Grier's suspension? Midweek QB changes can go one of two ways usually, very good or very bad.

Spurrier must have a significant health issue to quit abruptly in midseason.

I think he's just tired of losing.

Yipes. Some serious allegations there. They should have just made up an entire academic department and they'd have gotten off Scot free.
I do hate to hear that about Mark Hudspeth, though. Always liked him and thought he'd make a good coach at a bigger school when he got the chance. He's been linked to the Mississippi State and Ole Miss jobs a few times when they've come open.
