Still miffed that a program as mediocre as Minnesota has so many participation trophies.

And while no one was looking (including Boise State presumably) New Mexico becomes bowl eligible with an upset on the blue turf.

    Good for Wazzu.

    Good for Leach.

    Good for Iowa.

They lost to the Lobos at home?

    Boise State is over.

Some people should just stay where they are.

    RichRod at WVU.
Mike Leach at Texas Tech (though that wasn't his doing)
    Greg Schiano at Rutgers
And Chris Petersen at Boise. That move may wreck both programs.

I found that bizarrely captivating. Lobos were a 31-point dog going in.

I don't blame Peterson leaving for Washington. Every successful person needs a new challenge. I am more amazed that Boise kept winning with each coach from Peterson, going back to Houston Nutt.

Nah. I think Washington will be just fine.

Add AL Golden at Temple to the list. He at least should have waited for a job that was a better fit.

As much as the Cougs have improved from the start of the season, and as little as they're losing in the off-season, they have a good chance at the Pac-12 title next year. Plus I wouldn't be surprised if Falk is a strong Heisman candidate. He still makes some puzzling decisions from time to time (last night's late pick was a prime example), but with time he'll get even better.
    Oh, and Go Cougs.

I would have gone with no call, or offsetting calls on both. Can't believe how well Falk bounced back from his first half injury.
