Coach should be suspended by his own school. That's disgraceful.

The decision to file the report seems a little Hasty.

That coach needs to wash the sand out of his vagina and get over it.

I came into the office and was floored when I heard this. We carboned this to AP. Dunno if they'll re-work it and slap it on the wire, or not.

Not to thread-jack or anything, but does any one else think this gamer is out of line? Granted the incident is out of the ordinary. But the reporter should still treat it like a news story. For something like this especially, he needs to keep his opinion out of it. "Twilight zone?" "Bizarre?" "Crazy?"
Not good, I don't think. Just report the news, instead of making value judgments.

  8. yeah, I just read the piece & i agree ... Reynolds should have written a straight news story and if his office wanted a little sidebar on the game itself ...

too many sports guys just don't know how to handle a news story when it plops in their lap

if I'm on his desk, i'm sending it back to him to rework as straight news

Apparently he wasn't taken by the beauty of his surroundings. O'Brien field is a great Class A ball park.

You can't imagine the depth of my disappointment that the umpire's name wasn't Crawford, Bucknor or Eddings ...

Question is, what's he taking a stand against? This guy needs a reality check.
