    If you get the Big Ten Network, turn on the Illinois basketball game and listen to Kenny Battle try to do color commentary. It's a grease fire.

    Nice week for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. I suppose this ends any possibility of Big Ten honks pushing theirs as the nation's best basketball conference.

    I got a kick out of Izzo explaining the Grand Valley State loss away by saying he was 'more interested in the teaching aspect.'

    What was he teaching -- how to lose?

    And sorry; too lazy to look -- did Ohio State actually wind up losing?
