Sat next to a Dookie at the bar watching this game tonight. The "but-we're getting-jobbed-by-the-officials!" thing was too hysterical for me, and everyone else within earshot. karma, she is such a bitch at times.

and that UCLA-Southern Cal game set basketball back about 20 years. The Bruins do not do well against athletic guards. this could prove problematic in the NCAA Tournament.

You have to feel for Duke -- they finally get a game on TV and they end up losing. :)

Dammit Moddy, you started another college thread. It was great to see a thread I started go into the hundreds of posts. :)

Seriously -- whoda thunk Michigan would beat both Iowa AND Ohio State? How warped is the Big Ten this year?

Michigan has one of the country's best coaches. The players are getting increasing comfortable with Beilein's system. Michigan has good athletes, it is Michigan, after all.

Probably surprising that they beat both Ohio State and Iowa, but not surprising at all it's getting better. No Beilein team stays down for very long.

One more mistake for the record, it's the Horizon League, not the Horizon Conference.... Fact errors kill credibility.

Dead man walking: Providence's Tim Welsh.

It's amazing he's lasted this long.

This Louisville-Syracuse game is anything but pretty. 'Cuse goes nearly eight minutes without a field goal but is still in the game because of the free throw line.

Louisville is having trouble against Cuse's zone, and Cuse is having the same trouble against Louisville's zone and press.

    Ugly, ugly, ugly.

It's inexplicable that Syracuse can't devour a zone defense. Don't the Orange practice against a zone every day?
