But what of the payments to Silvio DeSouza. Maybe they can dodge the Preston bullet but if two guys got paid I think the hammer must drop.

Izzo's main bitch was the story that displayed him and Dantonio with Nassar
'Never met the guy," Izzo said.

That's what I was talking about with the $2,500. The witness specifically said he'd never talked to KU coaches about payments (likely coached by the prosecutor to say that). De Sousa's guardian was allegedly offered $60k by a Maryland booster. De Sousa himself might have an eligibility issue, but it doesn't look like major issue for the program at this point.

Again not that he's truly cleaner than anyone else, but the testimony yesterday went about as well as it possibly could have for Bill Self.

Please get your facts straight. I see Jake already said something.

N.C. State and Adidas are fair game. Kevin Keatts, until we see a lot more evidence to the contrary, has zero to do with this.

The funny/sad part ... Dennis Smith Jr. signed with Kevin Plank's bunch and left threestripes high and dry. As a result, Debbie Yow is left holding the bag. Orlando Early's hands are filthy, and who knows what Mark Gottfried knew - or didn't.

    Good luck, Cal State-Northridge ...

Kevin has been involved in big-time recruiting, one way or another, for a long time and worked his way up as a Pitino assistant. Self learned from Larry Brown and Eddie Sutton.

They likely haven't been innocent little lambs through the years, but they aren't the ones upset over what has come out of this trial so far.

Yup ... Kevin Keatts was under Rick Pitino and, while that's concerning, it shouldn't be an automatic indictment. Not until a misstep is chronicled.

Larry Brown shouldn't have even been coaching at the college level ... he was more fit for the NBA. Ask folks in Lexington about Eddie Sutton. Ask just about anyone about Rick Pitino.

At this point, it can be hoped that Keatts learned what to do. More importantly, what NOT to do.

It may be an old reference but if you worked for Union Carbide or Dow Chemical, it really doesn’t matter if you had nothing to do with Bopal India or Agent Orange. Izzo gladly takes his millions and adoration, he’s still associated with a disgusting serial child molestor. And he’s done nothing to disassociate himself from MSU or the lovely people who supervised or employed Nassar

Who was the basketball coach at Penn State during the Sandusky stuff? Jerry Dunn?
Should he be held accountable for Sandusky’s transgressions?
Izzo has plenty to answer for but enabling a child molester isn’t among them

Fair enough. But Izzo is the face of MSU athletics. Some humility is required.

We only tried to cover up our players' rapes. Don't you dare try to lump us in with the other atrocities on campus.
