I highly recommend it. My RN wife works even weirder hours than I do, plus she makes more money.

 

Mac, maybe you're right, but I'm just going off what the neighbors say. MrsExpendable is a teacher, so I ride on her bennies.

 

It is probably too late since it is in collections but in the future, with regard to medical bills you can't pay, just send in the bare minimum you can afford, even if it is only 10 dollars, every month and they can't come after you as long as you are paying something.

I have a bill for a procedure that was somewhere in the neighborhood of $4800. I send them $20 a month and have for about three years now and they just keep sending me a new bill each month.

You can't get away with it for credit card bills and things of the such, but medical bills are different.
