My dad, who worked for Pepsi for over 30 years and brainwashed all of us into thinking Coke is evil, would have totally had this guy's back.

Having lived it from the inside, most would be amazed how acrimonious the Pepsi-Coke thing really is. To this day, my dad gets very irate if one of his kids orders a Coke at a restaurant.

I actually prefer Dr Pepper, and when we moved around as kids (moving up the ladder in a soda company is not unlike being in the military), it was always huge when Pepsi had the Dr Pepper distributing license. If they did, I could bring it in the house. If they didn't ... fresh out.

God, I would never steal a Twins jersey. Unless it was on Joe Mauer.

Why does one have to hate the other if it likes one?

Coke has a crisper flavor, Pepsi has a sweeter, smoother taste.

I like them both just fine but only drink cola when I'm enjoying a good rum with it. Otherwise, I go caffiene free with Sierra Mist or Sprite or 7-Up.

But then, best of all, there's IBF Root Beer and IBF Black Cherry.

Pour an IBF Root Beer or Black Cherry over crushed ice (and drink it) and you'll wonder why you ever drank Coke or Pepsi.

I completely disagree. Pepsi is fizz and happiness, Coke feels like I'm drinking sheer sugar syrup. Barf.

Coke or Dr Pepper for this kid. That's it. Pepsi is shit.

Wink. The Sassy One. From Canada Dry.

Wink was around a lot when I was a kid, but I haven't seen it in years. Wikipedia says it's still available from a few bottlers in North Carolina, Virginia and in some areas of Canada, but I haven't seen it in years. It's like Fresca, but way better.

But I'll take Coke over Pepsi in this debate.

    Anyone still drink Wink?

I don't know if I ever drank it as I was quite young, but I do still remember the commercial jingle.

    Take a sip
    And you'll flip

Coke is only good in a fountain drink in a cold GLASS.

I would rather pay for a Pepsi than drink a free Coke.
