Cockfighting is now illegal in 49 states

    New Mexico outlawed it Monday. That leaves -- you guessed it -- my home state as the exception.

    I'd post a link, but mrsneakie.com won't let me. A quick Google should do the job.

    If, as sportschick suggests, we have a Mardi Gras outing, should we include a cockfighting tournament in our scheduled entertainment?
