Coaches' Polls question -- football and basketball

    Just curious, why do roughly half of the D I-A football coaches get to vote in their coaches' poll, but less than 10 percent of the D I basketball coaches get to vote in their poll?

    Because there are 4,000 D-I basketball programs?

    Because USA Today doesn't want to chase down votes from 180 basketball coaches every week.

    Because a handful of SID's only want to fillout the poll for their coaches
