    Haven't seen this posted yet, so . . .

    http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/usatpoll.htm

Say hello to Ohio State and Florida in Glendale.

It's generally believed that the extra win was going to help the Gators pass the Wolverines in the computers, so the BCS statboy gurus suggested that all Florida had to do was just close ground in the human polls to get the title-game berth.

Well, Florida passed Michigan in one of them.

Also, Tressel abstained from voting this week.

Tressel seemed to indicate he would last night. I heard him make comments that he didn't want to have a say in who the Buckeyes played.

    That said....IT BEGINS!!!

Actually, Tressell voted Michigan and Florida No.1.
Until it comes out that he really didn't.

Sorry Junkie, Michigan had its shot and lost by 11 (not counting the cosmetic TD at the end).
Michigan is the Big 10 runner-up. Second-place teams don't get a second chance for a National chamionship.

And, yeah, Michigan is the only team in the last few years to get screwed.

How did Michigan get screwed? They lost to Ohio State and didn't win their conference's championship, why should they play in the championship game?

  8. I'm glad Michigan doesn't get a second chance to make a first impression. Bitches. Being an ESPN Instant Classic does NOT make you a national-title candidate.

Better to watch the NFL where some 8-8 mediocrity from the NFC will make the playoffs and maybe even win the Super Bowl.
    Yeah, that's what we need.

I'm going to guess you're one of those guys who bitched like hell when Nebraska played Miami for the title despite the fact the Huskers didn't even win their conference that year.

Michigan had it's shot and lost.

So there should be a rule that you can't drop, or rise, in the rankings on your off week? Fucking brilliant.
