Coach K's Big Fat Fib

That's what bothers me the most-- he called the kid a liar.

Watching the video, K looks like a poor sport. He was pissed his team lost and in the heat of the moment, threw his weight around to make the kid feel guilty.

Then he called the kid a liar.

K fucked up all around.

You can tell by the look on his face, the kid probably idolized K.

Now? Not so much.

Kid got a big life lesson in this episode.

 

The lesson: K is a world-class asshole.

 

You rip a player on another team to the media, then lie about to protect your personal image, that seems way over the line on character issues for an Esteemed College Molder of Men. Worthy of a suspension, if not an outright firing.

Pipe dream, I know. But don't fuck with opposing players, asshole.

 

Who did K learn from again?

Oh yeah, Bob Knight.

 

Can we add douchebag? As in, world-class douchebag asshole?

 

I think we found Hillary Clinton's running mate.

 

Yeah, because that's worlds worse than the academic fraud that took pace eight miles down the road.

It's kind of amazing how many people flip out, still, when you criticize him. I made some crack about all this on social media and got all kinds of Krazy Kriticism from his Komrades in both the media and CBB fans.

 

That Mushnick column is absolute dreck. Calling the Oregon kid "misguided?"
