    The Reggie Jackson getting a gun shot at him over a parking spot story is hilarious.
    So many things that wouldn't be said now, or at least attacked by a PR staff.

    "He had gone out partying to some of his favorite bars..."

    "Jackson, who frequents singles bars..."

    "Two men and Jackson joked about going after the guy..."

    Man, those are memories. I'm old enough to remember both ESPN and CNN signing on. Before that, having cable TV meant getting a couple of out of town stations (WTBS, WOR, WGN, etc.) and a channel that did the weather forecast 24/7.
