CNHI.. "ahead" of the pack, again...

    "Readers find the new design more handy and convenient," said corporate tool/editor.

    They always forget to mention the reader will be getting less news and information for the same price.

    Maybe they can just shoot the pages to the narrower width so your style sheets wouldn't affected.
    Lots of papers do this.

    Of course, CNHI's major investor is the Alabama teachers' retirement system, so anything that doesn't result in a bigger retirement fund gets nixed and anything that will inflate the bottom line gets pushed. So the teachers will have a nice retirement.

    Now, the reporters and other employees at CNHI papers? They won't have a nice retirement, but who cares? They're not Alabama teachers.

    Seems to me that the last time we had an in-depth discussion about CNHI, somebody mentioned that because of the buying spree they initially went on, the company's leveraged to the hilt. Thus, we seem to get an annual wave of dumping smaller non-daily papers.
